Sunrise Over Superior

This piece was created in the winter of 2023. I had been scrolling through my Facebook early one morning and came across a photo taken by a Facebook friend from Duluth. The image took my breath away. I love the colors, of course, but the movement and composition of the clouds in the sky and how they grabbed the sunrise immediately caught my attention. This was the sky that demanded to be painted.
