St. Phillip

Philip is said to have worked in Phrygia, where in the Temple of Mars he drove out a dragon whose poisonous breath had killed many people. When the dragon crept out of its lair, the king's son was poisoned by the monster's breath and died. In their anger at this, the priests in the temple of Mars had Philip crucified and stoned in Hierapolis. As a rule, his attribute is a Latin Cross or a Patriarchal cross. Furthermore stones, for he was stoned while hanging on the cross, and a bowl containing snakes or dragons.
