Using the Discovery Platform, you can search through the artwork of thousands of artists around the world to find the perfect gift for everyone on your list—no need for an Artwork Archive account to browse and shop!
How to use the Discovery Platform on Artwork Archive
Start by selecting what kind of artwork you’d like to see in the top right corner of the Discovery Platform.
You can choose from categories like “work on paper,” “textile,” or “mosaic." Your selection will take you to the search results of all of the artworks that have been made public in that category. By default, all your images and information in Artwork Archive is private, as you can use the platform for your art management and inventory needs. However, many artists choose to make their artworks public on their Public Profile. The Discovery Platform is where viewers can search through the Public Profiles on Artwork Archive.
Use the additional filters to narrow your results by price, size, and orientation.
You also have the option of adding a keyword search, so you can try out general or extremely specific terms to further narrow down your results—this would be a good time to add additional material or color if you have specific ones in mind. If the work you fall in love with has sold already, you can still reach out to the artist or gallery with our message feature to learn more and possibly commission something similar.
